Benjamin Franklin Lewis

The Lewis, Wheaton, Otto, Marshall, Liberty, Peabody, Rose, & Hoff families regret to announce the death of their beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Cousin; Benjamin Franklin Lewis who went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2020.

Mr. Benjamin Franklin Lewis II was preceded in death by his parents James Henry Lewis & Evangeline Elizabeth Wheaton Dillon.

He leaves behind his darling wife and faithful partner of forty-nine plus years Rose Aba Otto Lewis; his children Robena Lewis Vincent (Solomon), Benjamin Franklin Lewis III, Evica Lewis Sillah (Baba), Benlina Jones (Brent) and Denise Aba Lewis and his beloved grandchildren.  He also leaves behind his siblings, Hannah James, Adelaide Cassell, Richard Bright Jr. (BIL), Myra Lewis Morris, Victoria Lewis Morris, James H. Lewis Jr., Winifred E. Lewis, Earner J. Lewis, E. Tyson Lewis, Vashti Lewis & Kekula (Gyah), Eric Lewis, Johnetta Minor, Alfred Minor and Viola Taylor. His predeceased siblings include Elaine Lewis Bright, Ellen Dillon Caesar, Lucy Dolly Sherman and J.H. Lewis. He will be missed by countless cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Liberia and the USA.  His life touched many people, and we all mourn his loss.“It is well, it is well, with my soul".
