With heavy hearts, the Thompson Family announce the peaceful transition of John Garmondyu Thompson. John fell sick on Thursday July 27, 2021, and went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 27, 2021, in Trenton, NJ, USA.
John was born at the Maternity Center in Bass Community, Monrovia, Liberia, on December 9, 1964, unto the union of Rev. Moses G. Thompson Sr. and Martha King, who predeceased him.
John was educated through the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) where he also received his high school diploma.
Predeceased by his mother, two brothers, James, Borbor and Levonza Gardea.
John leaves to mourn his loss, his father, Rev. Moses G. Thompson Sr., his children; Simeon Moses, Teddy and Faith Playboy; siblings, Moses Thompson Jr. (Olivia), Jeremiah Thompson (Mary), Mardea Beatrice Thompson, Wealy Moses and Lexi Diamond Thompson; his girl friend, Keisha Whittington; aunties, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law, along with a host of other relatives and friends in the United States of America, Canada, Africa, and other parts of the world.
John touched many lives very profoundly. he was a person with enormous faith in God. John is no longer living with pain. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
